Maryland Sheep & Wool 2018

Dear friends, I have an announcement, I will not be attending Maryland Sheep & Wool this year. Don't panic- my yarn will be there, but sadly I will not be there with it.

My booth mate and friend Christina of Madder Root will be there in out usual spot (Outside North Vendors: N2) with all of her gorgeous project bags and mountains of ontheround yarn as well as my samples and swatches!

The decision to stay home has been a difficult one, and if I am honest, the stress of the decision has been weighing on me for a long time. The fact of the matter is, I just can't do everything and I have to get better at saying no to the things that don't serve me well.

I know this is a disappointment for many of you who enjoy getting to see me in person- and I am right there with you. I can't say that I am not suffering from a case of "Fear of missing out" or FOMO, but I know in the long run, I will be much better off not exhausting myself with all the stresses that come with doing a big show like Maryland.

In my place Christina is bringing her husband Andy who is so kind and helpful- you will all love him!

Also, because I am not attending the show, the website will remain open and fully stocked, so if something has sold out in the booth, you can go online and order and I will get it out to you first thing on Monday!

To all of you who are going to make it to Maryland Sheep & Wool this year, I hope you have a fantastic time and post lots of pictures to social media so that I can live vicariously through you!

If you have any questions, you can leave them here in this blog post or email me via the contact page, here

You can find the Maryland Sheep & Wool website, here

Oh boy, now I don’t feel quite as bad…I’m not able to be there either. And, I have not finished my sweater, therefore, the well disciplined me, will not have to make a choice of whether or not to choose my next batch of yarn right now, or put it off!
I feel bad, but not quite as bad for me, not for you, but, I guess it’s good for you! : )
