January's Color of the Month is now available and it is a wildly speckled colorway inspired by bright bursting fireworks! I am feeling really excited about 2020 and I wanted this colorway to really come out with a bang.
To make this colorway I poured over a combination of light green and aqua to make a gentle teal color and then I layered in tons of speckles using orange, rose pink, violet, and a pinch of orchid and taupe. I love the way all the different colors play together in this colorway and I can't wait to see them knit up!
If you are looking to pair this limited edition colorway with something from my full collection then I would recommend Narwhal, Harvest, Diadem, Always A Bridesmaid, Divine Feminine, or Sugar Maple.
If you are looking to pair the Spontaneous Sock Fingering Weight I would recommend pairing it with Plush 4 ply and if you are looking to pair Spontaneous Sock DK weight then I would recommend my Everyday DK.
This yarn is excellent for baby knits and garments worn next to the skin. This base is also recommended to people who have sensitive skin.
While this is a fingering weight yarn, this yarn is not ideal for socks.
Hand dyed 19.5 micron Superwash Merino Wool

Single / Fingering Weight

This yarn is certified cruelty free.
Superwash yarn is machine washable in a gentle cycle with like colors, lay flat to dry. I've had a pair sneak into the dryer before and that won't ruin it, but whatever you make will last much longer if you air dry.
This fiber was handdyed by ontheround using professional quality acid dyes. I dye my yarn in small batches and no skein will be 100% the same- that's what makes working with hand dyed yarn so fun!
I do my very best to accurately photograph my yarns but please note that not all monitors are the same. My yarn is made in my smoke-free, pet free studio in Rockland Maine.
