Sprout, April's Color of Month on Plush Single LIMITED EDITION

Introducing April's Color of the Month Sprout!

I actually formulated this colorway back in January, but I knew I wanted to hold on to it for April because of the strong spring vibes! I had no idea that I would be deep in the throws of a chartreuse addiction by the time the colorway would be released! It's funny how things work out sometimes...

April's color of the month starts out with a layer of aqua blue, then a heavy pour of chartreuse, and finally a dollop of baby blue. I finish this colorway by speckling both sides with a bright Copenhagen blue and some taupe for good measure. 

The end result of this colorway is a bright springy green with pops of bright chartreuse and hints of blue.- just like the little sprouts of life popping out of the ground throughout the month! 

This colorway pairs naturally with the past three Color of the Month offerings Ophelia, Inspired, and Wayward. It also works well with Pickle, Oxidize, Glow, Pine Cone, Blueberry, Robin's Egg, Rust. or Beauchamp. 

Sprout is available on Spontaneous Sock Yarn in Fingering and DK weight, Plush Single.

Plush singles feature extra fine 19.5 micron superwash Merino wool. This yarn base is light weight, incredibly soft and has a beautiful silky sheen. Plush is the perfect yarn for a colorful shawl, light weight hat, or your favorite colorwork design.  

This yarn is excellent for baby knits and garments worn next to the skin. This base is also recommended to people who have sensitive skin.

While this is a fingering weight yarn, this yarn is not ideal for socks.

Superwash yarn is machine washable in a gentle cycle with like colors, lay flat to dry. I've had a pair sneak into the dryer before and that won't ruin it, but whatever you make will last much longer if you air dry.

This fiber was hand dyed by ontheround using professional quality acid dyes. I dye my yarn in small batches and no skein will be 100% the same- that's what makes working with hand dyed yarn so fun!
